Focal to Present Pro Gear at 3rd “MixNik” Audio Engineering Event in Atlanta

Focal Professional will feature its line of studio monitors and headphones at the July 25^th-26th “MixNik” event at SAE in Atlanta, GA. The event will feature presentations by several top audio engineers including Focal user Leslie Brathwaite, who mixes with Focal Twin6 ST6 professional monitors.

MixNik is a transformative event that is shaping the careers of music creators. Superstar recording engineers like Young Guru (Jay-Z’s personal engineer for over 20 years) and Leslie Braithwaite (Beyonce, Cardi B) will open up some of the music industry's biggest recording sessions and show attendees step by step mixing techniques used to shape today's sound.

The two day event kicks off with vendor activations, and 3 industry panels on Friday July 25th at SAE in downtown Atlanta. Friday evening the highly anticipated VIP takes place at Bravo Ocean Studios with an “Open Session” engineered by Young Guru. Attendees will be able to watch the step by step process of a professional recording session. VIP ticket holders will enjoy networking with all of the panelists and special guests over food and beverages.

Day 2 Saturday July 26th doors open at 10am and a jam packed day is planned with panels and activations non-stop until 8pm. Attendees can look forward to A Mixing Competition, A Beat Battle sponsored by AVID, An AI in Music Masterclass taught by Ludacris’s Engineer - Gerald Keys, an all women panel featuring leading engineers in the industry and so much more. Young Guru will be building analog recording equipment Live on the Mix Nik Stage, and attendees will have the opportunity to have their mixes reviewed by Leslie Brathwaite.
